Cashews + Bananas Smoothie Bowl

We all know how important breakfast is for our bodies. However, I’ll be the first to admit that I am terrible at being consistent with breakfast but on the flip side, I’m stellar when it’s time for brunch! :) This smoothie bowl is a go-to recipe for me, it’s super easy to make and it leaves me feeling full for hours. I typically will bust this recipe out when I’m on a health kick or after a hard work out or a long run. I find it to be incredibly fueling and yummy. I pack in a ton of superfoods such as Tumeric, Goji Berries and Chia Seeds. PSA for the day…TUMERIC. Tumeric is my current obsession because of the wonders it works on inflammation and additional benefits I won’t bore you with :). Give this smoothie bowl a try when you are looking for a new recipe or change in your breakfast routine.

What you will need: Blender

  • 1 dash of tumeric (optional)

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • coconut flakes

  • chia seeds

  • goji berries

  • blueberries

  • strawberries (sliced)

LET’S. DO. THIS

  1. Place frozen banana, cashews and milk (optional: tumeric) into a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Feel free to add more or less of either ingredient for your tasting.

  2. Pour smoothie into a bowl and use the remaining ingredients to top off the bowl.
